Senior Contracts Administrator (Pre-Contracts)

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Pre-Contracts team based in Perth.

Playing a key role in supporting major tenders across infrastructure, construction and renewable energy projects, this role works closely with estimating, commercial and technical teams.

The Senior Contracts Administrator will drive procurement and subcontractor engagement activities, helping to identify, source and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to support successful tender outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support procurement and subcontractor engagement activities across multiple tenders.
• Review tender documentation and assist in developing procurement strategies and package plans.
• Identify, source and engage suitable subcontractors and suppliers to meet tender requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and key industry partners.
• Coordinate RFQ and tender processes in collaboration with estimating and bid teams.
• Facilitate tender clarifications, negotiations and supplier evaluation activities.
• Assist in developing scopes of work, pricing schedules and tender evaluation criteria.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with governance requirements and company procedures.
• Support the transition of procurement information and supplier relationships to project delivery teams following contract award.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to proactively resolve procurement challenges and meet tender deadlines.

About You

• Experience within contracts administration, procurement or pre-contracts functions within major projects across construction, infrastructure, mining, renewables or heavy industry.
• Understanding of subcontractor engagement, sourcing and procurement processes.
• Experience supporting tendering activities and supplier evaluation and negotiation processes.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work across multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Commercially minded with a proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
