At Greencross Ballarat, we're growing and looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit team.

We're offering a casual or part-time opportunity, working up to 3-4 days per week, with the potential to increase hours and transition into a permanent position as the clinic continues to grow.

This is the perfect role for a nurse who enjoys being hands-on, values gold-standard patient care, and wants to work alongside a team that genuinely enjoys working together. About the Role

We're looking for experienced nurses who can confidently contribute across all aspects of veterinary nursing.

This position offers:

Surgical nursing and theatre assistanceAnaesthetic monitoring and patient recoveryMedical nursing and hospital patient careConsult nursing and client educationEmergency and critical care nursingPathology collection and diagnostic testingSupporting veterinarians during consultations and proceduresReception and customer service dutiesMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection controlContributing to our Team-Based Care modelAbout You

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)Has a minimum of 2+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experienceHas strong surgical nursing experienceIs confident and competent monitoring anaesthesia independentlyDemonstrates excellent patient care and animal handling skillsHas experience in medical and hospital nursingHas excellent communication and customer service abilitiesWorks well independently and as part of a collaborative teamIs calm, mature, empathetic, and professionalMost importantly, you're passionate about veterinary nursing and enjoy being part of a team that genuinely supports one another.
