Senior Qualified Painter / Team Leader

High Luxury Painting is looking for an experienced, trade-qualified painter to join our growing team.

We’re looking for someone with at least 10 years’ painting experience who not only produces exceptional work themselves, but also has the confidence and experience to lead a team, manage jobs on-site and maintain a high standard of workmanship from start to finish.

This is a senior role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well and enjoys being part of a professional team focused on quality.

About the Role

You’ll be working across a variety of residential and commercial painting projects throughout Hervey Bay and the Fraser Coast.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supervising painters and apprentices on-site

• Organising daily workloads and keeping projects running efficiently

• Ensuring preparation and finishes meet our quality standards

• Communicating with management regarding job progress, materials and scheduling

• Maintaining a clean, safe and professional worksite

• Completing all aspects of interior and exterior painting

• Assisting less experienced team members and providing guidance where required

• Representing High Luxury Painting professionally when dealing with clients

About You

To be considered, you will need:

• Trade qualification in Painting & Decorating

• Minimum 10 years’ industry experience

• Previous experience leading or supervising a painting team

• Strong knowledge of preparation, coatings and application methods

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to confidently run jobs and manage a team on-site

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Reliable transport and a current driver’s licence

• Strong work ethic and professional presentation

Experience with spray application, larger residential projects and commercial painting will be highly regarded.
