Female Disability Support Worker – Part-Time

We are looking for a female Disability Support Worker to provide personal care and support to a participant who uses a wheelchair full-time.

📅 Hours:

• Tuesday: 2 hours

• Friday: 8 hours

• Potential for additional hours in the future

About the role:
The successful applicant will be required to assist with:

• Manual handling and safe transfers

• Showering and personal hygiene

• Changing continence aids/nappies

• Feeding and mealtime assistance

• Getting dressed and other personal care tasks

• General daily living support

• Ensuring the participant’s comfort, dignity and safety

About you:

• Female support worker preferred

• Previous disability support experience

• Must be confident and experienced with manual handling

• Experience supporting someone who is fully wheelchair-dependent

• Comfortable providing personal care, including showering and continence care

• Patient, caring, reliable and respectful

• Good communication skills

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and relevant checks/certificates preferred

• First Aid/CPR preferred

This role would suit someone who is compassionate, dependable and comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
