Experienced Architectural Draftsperson

Aspex Building Designers is seeking an experienced and motivated Architectural Draftsperson to join our growing team in Norwood, South Australia. 

Working across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, consultants, and builders while being part of a supportive and collaborative team environment. 

About the Role 

We are looking for a highly skilled Architectural Draftsperson with a strong technical background and a thorough understanding of Australian building regulations and construction documentation. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing detailed design and construction documentation, coordinating with consultants, and assisting with projects from concept through to approvals and construction. 

Essential Requirements 

·         Minimum 5 years' experience as an Architectural Draftsperson or Architectural Technician. 

·         Advanced proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit. 

·         Knowledge of planning and development approval processes. 

·         Sound understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) and associated Australian Standards. 

·         Experience producing residential and commercial construction documentation. 

·         Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

·         Strong organisational and time management skills.

·         Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a

          team environment. 

·         Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
