Solar Sales Representative

About the role

Diamond Air and Energy is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Narangba, QLD 4504. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our solar energy solutions business, driving sales and promoting our high-quality solar products and services to residential and commercial customers. As a Solar Sales Representative, you will play a crucial part in our company's expansion within the renewable energy sector, helping customers transition to sustainable energy solutions whilst achieving ambitious sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking within the local Narangba community and surrounding areas

• Present and demonstrate solar energy solutions to potential customers, explaining the benefits, cost savings and environmental advantages

• Prepare and deliver tailored quotes and proposals for residential and commercial solar installations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process and beyond

• Conduct site assessments and gather necessary information to provide accurate solar system recommendations

• Negotiate contracts and close sales whilst ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies

• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics

• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, quotes and sales in the company CRM system

• Collaborate with the installation and customer service teams to ensure seamless project delivery

• Stay current with solar technology, industry trends, government incentives and competitors' offerings

• Represent Diamond Air and Energy professionally at industry events, trade shows and community engagement activities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the solar, renewable energy or home improvement sectors

• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer groups

• Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities

• Knowledge of solar technology, energy solutions or renewable energy systems is highly desirable

• Familiarity with government solar rebates, incentives and financing options such as the Clean Energy Finance Corporation schemes

• Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport for site visits and customer meetings

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail

• Enthusiasm for renewable energy and sustainability

• Relevant sales certifications or qualifications are advantageous but not essential
