About the Role

As Head of Product, you’ll lead Fifth Domain’s product strategy, innovation roadmap and product operating model.

Working closely with the CEO and Leadership Team, you’ll help translate market opportunities, customer insights and emerging technologies into scalable solutions that deliver genuine value to our customers.

You’ll lead a team of technical specialists, establish product management disciplines and create an environment where innovation, accountability and collaboration thrive.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who is equally comfortable thinking strategically, engaging with customers and working alongside technical teams to bring great ideas to life.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Define and execute Fifth Domain’s product strategy and innovation roadmap. 
• Partner with the CEO to identify market opportunities and shape future product direction. 
• Lead agile product planning, roadmap development and delivery activities. 
• Establish product management frameworks, governance and prioritisation processes. 
• Analyse customer feedback, market trends and product performance to inform product decisions. 
• Work closely with Account Managers to ensure customer needs are reflected in product priorities and roadmap planning. 
• Develop compelling product positioning, value propositions and product marketing collateral, independently or in collaboration with internal marketing resources. 
• Produce commercial analysis, business cases and financial reporting to support product investment decisions. 
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of technical specialists. 
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement. 

About You

You’re a commercially minded product leader with a passion for technology and innovation.

You combine strategic thinking with technical credibility and enjoy turning customer challenges into practical, market-leading solutions.

You’ll likely bring:

• Extensive experience leading product strategy within a technology environment. 
• Experience across software, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence or SaaS products. 
• Strong commercial acumen and product investment experience. 
• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across technical and commercial teams. 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• A passion for emerging technology, innovation and continuous improvement. 

Experience progressing from a software development, engineering or other technical background into product leadership will be highly regarded.

Eligibility

Due to the nature of Fifth Domain’s customers and projects, applicants must hold Australian

Permanent Residency at a minimum. Australian Citizenship is highly regarded and may be

required to support future security-cleared projects.
