Domestic Appliance Technician – Subcontractor

Due to a consistent and growing workload across Sydney, we’re looking for an experienced Domestic Appliance Technician to join our subcontractor network.

You’ll be servicing residential customers across Sydney, including the CBD, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Parramatta, Hills District and North Shore.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing domestic appliances, including washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, cooktops, ovens, rangehoods and dishwashers

• Carrying out accurate fault-finding and diagnostics

• Installing new domestic appliances

• Providing professional and customer-focused service

• Managing your daily run sheet and completing jobs efficiently

• Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship

• Completing job reports and required documentation accurately

We’re looking for an experienced technician who is reliable, professional and takes pride in their workmanship.

You’ll have:

• Proven experience in domestic appliance repair and servicing

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Experience working across a range of major appliance brands

• Good communication and customer service skills

• The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

• A current Australian driver’s licence

To work with us as a subcontractor, you’ll need:

• Your own reliable vehicle suitable for appliance servicing

• Your own tools and equipment

• ABN and ability to invoice

• Appropriate business and public liability insurance

• Any relevant licences or qualifications required to carry out the work

• The ability to work professionally and independently in customers’ homes

• Consistent job volume across Sydney

• Strong earning potential
