As a Bar Supervisor at Runner Up Rooftop Bar, you'll be the backbone of our bar operation. Overseeing our talented staff, maintaining the vibe of the venue, and ensuring every guest feels like they're number 2!

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Position purpose:
Our supervisors are responsible for overseeing bar staff, maintaining the amenity of the venue and assisting in the bar.

Main tasks:
Core objectives include:

• Ensure all staff are maintaining high levels of customer service
• Passionate about delivering a high standard of service to different types of clientele
• Attend to all guest needs in a polite and cheerful manner
• Maintain the atmosphere of the room effectively, intervening early with problem patrons, identifying risks and controlling behaviour in conjunction with security
• Ensure all stairwell, toilet and EON checks are being done on every shift
• Adjust rosters on the go as required, cutting shifts short when quiet, or adding extra staff when busy
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar patrons if necessary
• Plan and present the bar
• Oversee restocking
• Assess customers' needs and make recommendations based on these needs

Experience:

Relevant practical experience in a Supervisory position with the ability to display required competencies
