Steel Sales - Counter Sales

Scott Metals in Woolloongabba is looking for an experienced steel salesman to join our team!

Casual position with view to full time for the right candidate. 

This role involves dealing with both the general public and account customers through counter sales and telephone enquiries.

Duties will include, but not limited to;

• Prepare and follow up customer quotes and processing walk in sales/collections.

• Responding to enquiries via phone and email.

• Liaising with customers to interpret and complete their job requirements.

• Stock management.

You will work closely with all internal departments to ensure the job is completed to the highest standard.

To be considered for the role, it is ideal that you posses the following;

• Previous customer service/ steel sales experience is essential.

• Excellent knowledge of the structual steel industry and its products.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

• Good computer skills.

• Forklift ticket preferred.

Please note that this not a typical sales role. This is a labor intensive job, we don't wear suits & shiny shoes, you will get your hands dirty.
