Tassie Cabinets is a small business that is proudly Tasmanian owned and operated. Our showroom is in the Launceston CBD. We manufacture and supply custom-made cabinets for both flat pack and full-service clientele across Tasmania. We have a reputation for providing exemplary products for our clientele across retail & building sectors. A fantastic opportunity exists for a Sales Consultant to join our team. The role would best suit applicants with design and sales experience.A car and phone will be provided.We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Design Consultant to join our team. If you thrive on making a sale, enjoy working with people, and have a knack for organisation and communication, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the RoleAs a key member of our team, you’ll ensure that every project runs smoothly from the first consultation through to installation. You’ll be the bridge between our clients and our production team — keeping projects on track, clients informed, and details organised.The purpose of this position is to deliver outstanding quality customer service and provide design solutions for our clients looking to create their dream kitchen, laundry and wardrobes. The key objective will be to maximise showroom revenue; deliver and ideally exceed the outcomes required to meet the overall company sales objectives. You will also be required to complete CAD drawings so a background in design or cabinet making would be a great advantage.
Key ResponsibilitiesUse design software (Microvellum) to quote, render and draw up client plans.Assist clients in selecting colours, materials, and finishes to bring their vision to life.Conduct consultations and screen clients to ensure project fit and alignment.Oversee client communication throughout the sales and installation process.Manage CRM data to ensure accurate client and project information.

A sales superstar who can not only sell a product, but who enjoys providing solutions to our customersAn interest in the cabinetry and interior design.Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.A proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail.Experience in coordinating schedules and working with CRM systems.Interest in learning cabinetry design software.
