Graduate Program – Product Stream

Are you interested in technology, innovation and solving business problems? Metro Finance is looking for ambitious graduates to join our 12-month Product Graduate Program, where you’ll gain hands-on experience designing and improving the systems, processes and digital experiences that power one of Australia’s leading non-bank lenders.

This program offers a unique combination of business and technology exposure, allowing you to develop skills in business analysis, product management, process improvement and technology delivery.

About the Program

During the program, you’ll spend time within our Product team while also rotating through key operational areas of the business, including:

• Customer Care
• Settlements
• Credit

By learning how our frontline teams operate, you’ll build a strong foundation in the customer journey and lending lifecycle before helping design and deliver improvements through technology and automation.

Working alongside experienced Product Managers, Business Analysts and Technology professionals, you’ll gain practical experience in:

• Gathering and analysing business requirements
• Mapping and improving business processes
• Writing user stories and acceptance criteria
• Participating in Agile delivery teams
• Supporting testing and quality assurance activities
• Working on digital transformation and automation initiatives
• Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders
• Using tools such as Jira, Confluence and process mapping software

About You

We’re looking for curious, analytical graduates who enjoy solving problems and working with both people and technology.

You may be completing or have recently completed a degree in:

• Information Technology
• Computer Science
• Software Engineering
• Information Systems
• Business Information Systems
• Commerce
• Business Analytics
• Or a related discipline

You’ll also demonstrate:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Curiosity and a desire to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• A collaborative mindset
• An interest in technology and innovation

No prior industry experience is required.
