Our client is a well-established Chartered Accounting and Advisory firm and part of a global network spanning more than 90 countries. Based in Sydney CBD, the firm provides accounting, taxation and advisory services to privately owned businesses, family groups, high-net-worth individuals and growing enterprises across a diverse range of industries.

The Role: 

• Manage a portfolio of business services and taxation clients across a broad range of industries 

• Work directly with Partners to deliver high-quality compliance, advisory and consulting services 

• Review financial statements, income tax returns and other compliance obligations prepared by the team 

• Provide strategic advice relating to business performance, tax planning, structures and growth initiatives 

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact 

• Manage workflow, budgets and client deadlines to ensure exceptional service delivery 

• Lead, mentor and develop intermediate and senior accountants 

• Review technical work, provide coaching and support ongoing staff development 

• Identify opportunities for additional advisory services and contribute to practice growth 

• Assist with process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies across the division 

About You: 

• CA qualified 

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager 

• Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards 

• Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering advisory services 

• Strong leadership, delegation and staff development capability 

• Commercially minded with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills 

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills 

• Committed to delivering outstanding client service and achieving quality outcomes 

• Motivated to continue progressing within a growing professional services environment

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager or Business Services Manager seeking greater client ownership, leadership responsibility and long-term career progression.
