About the Role
In this role, you will take ownership of branch financials across several regions, ensuring compliance with AASB standards, managing monthly P&Ls, and providing critical insight to support business growth. You will collaborate closely with Regional Managers and Project Teams to analyse performance, forecast budgets, and deliver strategic financial reporting that impacts key business decisions.
Responsibilities
Analyse financial data and link it to business strategies to support growth plansManage branch financials and regional P&Ls, including journals and consolidation reportingHandle project accounting for large-scale projects, working closely with Project ManagersPartner with Regional Managers to interpret monthly results and margin analysisLead initiatives to improve operational, commercial, and financial performanceDevelop and present full-year forecasts and budgets, highlighting risks and opportunitiesDrive efficiencies and cost savings by challenging current processesSupport year-end and internal auditsBuild and deliver Power BI reports to enhance decision-makingReconcile balance sheets and communicate cost drivers to non-finance teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accountingCA/CPA qualified3-5+ years’ experience in a similar financial/accounting role
Required Skills
Advanced Excel skills: Power BI experience is a plusStrong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProven relationship management and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines with high responsivenessSelf-motivated with a strong desire for continuous learning and improvementTeam player with integrity and initiative
