Blakehurst High School is a highly successful co-educational comprehensive school. The school caters to a diverse and multicultural student population of 935, including many English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) learners, 12 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students and 21 international students. Blakehurst High School inspires students to become critical learners, thinkers, and champions of diversity who positively impact their world. The school is dedicated to fostering student growth through data-driven, evidence-informed teaching and innovative curriculum design that engages all learners. The school’s comprehensive wellbeing programs promote resilience, positivity, and both individual and collective efficacy. Blakehurst High School provides rich co-curricular opportunities in academic enrichment, leadership, sport and the creative and performing arts. Specific Selection CriteriaAn unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
