The role

We help people with disability become more independent, in their own homes and the community.

Active support: develop personal interests, provide personal care, transportation and coach independent living skills Health support: administer and document medication and follow health support plans Positive behaviour support: manage behaviour triggers and escalation Safeguarding: ensure safety of you and the participant, documentation and reports

About You

Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disabilitySleepovers are a must for this roleCertificate IV Disability or related fieldExperience in managing complex clientsExperience in reporting and preparing detailed handoverExperience with Intellectual and physical disability and personal care & hygieneManual handling experience with complex care Assist with medication and domestic dutiesAvailable to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnightsNDIS Worker CheckNational Police CheckAustralian Driver’s licenseFirst aid certificate
