Support Professional - Casual

The role

We help people with disability become more independent, in their own homes and the community.

• Active support: develop personal interests, provide personal care, transportation and coach independent living skills
• Health support: administer and document medication and follow health support plans
• Positive behaviour support: manage behaviour triggers and escalation
• Safeguarding: ensure safety of you and the participant, documentation and reports

About you

• Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disability
• Certificate IV Disability or related field
• Experience in managing complex clients
• Experience in reporting and preparing detailed handover
• Experience with Intellectual and physical disability and personal care & hygiene
• Manual handling experience with complex care 
• Assist with medication and domestic duties
• Available to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights
• NDIS Worker Check
• National Police Check
• Australian Driver’s license
• First aid certificate
