• Maintaining and developing gardens and landscaped areas across all College campuses.
• Planting, pruning, mulching, weeding, irrigation and seasonal garden maintenance.
• Maintaining lawns, trees and garden beds.
• Applying appropriate pest and disease control measures, including safe chemical application.
• Operating and maintaining gardening equipment, machinery, tools and personal protective equipment safely.
• Keeping pathways, driveways and stormwater drains clear of leaves, debris and rubbish.
• Assisting with general grounds maintenance and College events as required.
• Supporting the Facilities team and contributing to the achievement of College goals.
• Consistently maintaining a safe, clean and visually appealing College environment.

• Demonstrated experience in horticulture, gardening or grounds maintenance.
• Certificate II in Horticulture (or equivalent) is desirable.
• AQF II Chemical Safety Certificate is desirable.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to use initiative.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• A commitment to upholding the Catholic ethos and Child Safety commitments of the College.
