Accountant / Senior Accountant

Are you an experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant in public practice, ready for your next step? Join our Gold Coast team and enjoy exposure to varied and complex client portfolios, supporting SME businesses with all things accounting.

You'll work alongside experienced Managers and Partners in Business Advisory, contributing to the delivery of exceptional accounting and advisory services. If you come in at a Senior Accountant level, you'll also help develop junior accountants around you.

Your role, your contribution!

• Prepare and review various tax compliance work including Business Activity Statements (BAS), financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businesses.

• Prepare cash flows and monthly management reports for clients.
• Contribute to strategic business advice and get involved in commercial advisory projects alongside experienced Partners.
• Work closely with Managers and Partners to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Support and mentor junior team members (Senior Accountant level)

What you will bring to the role

• Public practice experience with a developing ability to lead and support others.
• Achieved or working towards CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong commercial acumen with sound technical accounting and analytical skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong cloud accounting product knowledge (e.g. Xero, MYOB, Excel).
• Fantastic people skills, an outgoing personality, and a genuine passion for accounting and business advisory.
