Field Service Engineer

Every day is different. One day you could be installing new equipment, the next you’re troubleshooting a complex fault or helping a customer keep their production line running. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your day while being backed by a supportive team that values expertise, collaboration and continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure customer hardware and software on site.
• Perform preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and software faults efficiently.
• Deliver outstanding technical support while building strong customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
• Manage travel schedules and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer equipment performance and reliability.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.

About you

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-first approach.
• Comfortable working independently across a variety of customer sites.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and test equipment.
• Experience within industrial labelling, coding, packaging, manufacturing, automation or a similar industry is highly desirable.
• Current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.
• Experience with thermal printing and/or CIJ coders will be highly regarded.
