Gallard Group (Gallard Machinery) is the fastest growing JCB/Air-O-Fan/Afron/FAE Dealership in The Riverland and Sunraysia Area. Gallard Group represent multiple dealerships supplying machinery all around Australia.

We are looking for a multi skilled mechanic who is dynamic, adaptable and able to complete a wide variety of tasks

Some of the tasks to be carried out (but not limited to) pre-delivery assembly, scheduled maintenance, servicing of new machinery and refurbished machines, Fault Troubleshooting, breakdown and repairs inclusive of fabrication.

Daily time keeping, job logging and stock management is required.

Gallard Group has a wide variety of work and this position requires both workshop and onsite infield mechanical duties to be carried out in order to maintain our customer requirements.

The successful applicant must have

• Australian work authorisation is required for this position.

• A minimum of 3-5 years diesel mechanic experience is required.

• Qualification in Heavy or Light Vehicle

• Strong Diagnostic and Repair Skills

• Experience using Diagnostic Tools

• Mechanic Diesel or Automotive Trade Certificate

• Welding/Fabrication and Mechanical Repairs Skills

• Strong Work Ethic & Punctuality

• Ability to Work Alone or in a Team Environment

• Willing to Conduct Field Service & Workshop Repairs

• Car license (C class) is required as a minimum driver's license requirement.

• HR Drivers Licence (desirable but not required)

• Current White Card (desirable but not required)

• Forklift Licence

• Experience with Agricultural & Heavy Vehicles is desired but not compulsory

Training in agricultural equipment and heavy vehicles will be provided
