Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Overhaul

Skytek Pty Ltd (associated entity of Aerlink Pty Ltd) is a leading maintenance, repair and overhaul organisation (MRO), specialising in fixed and rotary wing aircraft.  Our heavy maintenance facility is based in Cairns, Far North Queensland where an exciting opportunity now exists for highly motivated individuals to become an integral part of our engineering team.

Due to sustained and continual growth, exciting opportunities now exist for the following positions

 Successful candidates will need to have:

·         CASA Part 66 License.

·         Current ASIC card or be eligible to hold Australian ASIC

·         Part 145 experience, 

·         Overhaul Workshop experience

·         Experience on the following aircraft components would be highly regarded 

• Bell Series Helicopters 212/412 & 206/407 Drive/power train
• King Air Gear overhaul
• DH6 Twin Otter gear overhaul
• Heavy maintenance experience

·         Capacity to refer to and interpret specifications/standards and written technical

instructions

·         Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines whiles part of the team

·         Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
