EWP Mechanic

Want Access –Experienced Workshop Mechanic

With a fleet of over 1500 Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Forklifts & Telehandlers, Want Access is Sydney's leading EWP hire company.

We are currently looking to employ a full-time trade qualified mechanic / fitter / auto electrician to work in our Smeaton Grange based workshop with experience with EWP, Telehandlers and Forklifts to undertake major repairs on equipment.

Reporting directly to the Workshop Foreman you will work as part of a team as well as indivdually to ensure our equipment is serviced and repaired to OEM and company standards focusing on safety & reliability.

In house training provided to successful applicant, EWP experience is essential to this role.

The successful applicant will possess the following

• 2-3 Years minimum experience with EWP's
• Must have own tools
• Basic Experience in Electrical & Hydraulic Fault finding & maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret electrical & Hydraulic schematics
• Hold a Current drivers’ licence & own transport
• Be reliable, hardworking and trustworthy
• Be able to work in a Fast paced environment
• Must hold a current Australian Trade qualification in mechanical / maintenance fields
