About the Role:

Due to continued growth, Mader Group's Rail Services division are currently seeking Locomotive Fitters to join our Rostered Maintenance Crews on 2/2 & 8/8 FIFO rosters. This is a FIFO role ex. Perth, interstate candidates are encouraged to apply.

Primarily this role will be focused working within our Rail maintenance specialisation with roles working on a wide range of Locomotive makes & models -  you name it, we work on it!

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintenance, servicing and repairs on locomotives and rollingstock

• Fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical systems

• Preventative maintenance and breakdown support

• Conducting inspections and identifying defects

• Ensuring all work is completed to safety and quality standards

• Accurate completion of maintenance documentation

What do I need to join?

• Previous Locomotive experience is required

• Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting or similar

• Drivers Licence

• National Police Check within 6 months or willing to get

• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Strong commitment towards safety and quality
