Location: Canberra & surrounding regions

We're looking for support workers who are kind, reliable, and proactive people who genuinely care and want to make a difference.
As a Support Worker, you'll provide tailored assistance to individuals with disability, neurodivergence, and complex needs. Your role may include:
Providing in-home and community-based support
Assisting with daily routines, emotional regulation, and social engagement
Supporting clients to access activities, appointments, and outings
Encouraging independence, creativity, and confidence
Collaborating with families, carers, and team leaders to ensure continuity of care
Maintaining accurate, respectful documentation and communication
A supportive, calm, and compassionate approach that empowers participants through strengths‑based, person‑led practice
Experience or understanding of physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, sensory processing needs, neurological conditions (such as epilepsy or ABI), mobility impairments, communication disorders, chronic health conditions, and trauma‑informed support
Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
Ability to follow detailed support plans and adapt to individual needs
Respect for client dignity, privacy, and autonomy
Commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical practice
Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
First Aid (within the last 3 years) & CPR certification (within the last 12 months)
National Police Check
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Driver's licence, comprehensive insurance and a reliable vehicle
Full driver's licence is required
COVID-19 and flu vaccinations (as per current health guidelines)
Relevant qualifications or experience in disability, mental health, aged care, or community services
A supportive, inclusive team culture
