Valley District Cricket Club 1st Grade Women's Coach

Position: 1st Grade Womens Coach of Valley District Cricket Club

Valley District Cricket Club is seeking a enthusiastic and dedicated Cricket Coach to lead our senior women's 1st Grade team over the coming summer season. The ideal candidate will possess strong qualifications and experience in Cricket, with a commitment to developing our players both on and off the field. We are specifically looking for someone to remain in this role for 3+ years.

If you are passionate about Cricket and heavily contributing to the development of the women's game, we would love to hear from you! Please submit a short cover letter outlining your experience both playing and coaching, along with a current resume that includes details of three current referees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and mentor women's teams during training sessions and matches.

• Develop and implement training plans tailored to the skill levels and further development of the students.

• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive culture leaving behind a legacy in the Valley District Cricket Club women's program.

• Work closely with the Director of Cricket and Women's Committee Chair Person to support players in achieving both team and individual success.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training and fixtures.

Training Schedule 

Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30pm – 7.30pm

Fixture Schedule:

Sunday 9:00am – 5:00pm

About you:

• Minimum level 2 coaching accreditation 

• Experience with coaching high level cricket

• Strong knowledge of Cricket and proven coaching techniques.

• Ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive sporting environment.

• The right to work in Australia.

• Police Check (dated within the last 6 months).

• Current Working with Children Check.

Remuneration Package:

• $10,000 for the summer season

• You will be provide with club clothing
