Pre-cast Yard/Grano/concreter

About the role

FX Batching Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Pre-cast Yard/Grano/Concreter to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on position based in Fitzroy Crossing, WA, where you will be responsible for producing high-quality pre-cast concrete products in our concrete yard operations. This role is integral to delivering quality building materials to our clients and supporting the broader construction and trades sector in Western Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and mixing concrete and granolithic materials to specified standards and proportions

• Operating and maintaining concrete mixing and batching equipment safely and efficiently

• Knowledge of steel reinforcement placement.

• Pouring, casting and finishing pre-cast concrete products including panels, culverts and other structural elements

• Conducting quality checks on finished concrete products to ensure they meet required specifications and standards

• Operating relevant machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines

• Loading and transporting finished products safely

• Assisting with site setup, cleanup and general yard maintenance

• Following all health and safety regulations and reporting any incidents or hazards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a concreter, pre-cast yard operator or in a similar concrete production role

• Sound knowledge of concrete batching, mixing, pouring and finishing techniques

• Experience with granolithic work and pre-cast concrete product manufacturing

• Ability to operate concrete batching and mixing equipment safely and competently

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour and heavy lifting regularly

• Excellent health and safety awareness and a commitment to following all workplace safety procedures

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in concrete work, plant operation or workplace safety are advantageous

• Valid driver's licence is preferred
