QC Coordinator

At Prima PMI, quality is at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Control (QC) Coordinator to support the Production Team

This role is instrumental in maintaining and raising our quality standards, identifying issues before they impact our clients, and driving continuous improvement across the business. Working closely with Production and Operations teams, you’ll provide leadership, coaching, and support to ensure excellence is embedded throughout our organisation.

About the Role

As the Quality Control Coordinator, you will:

• Monitor and maintain quality standards across several production teams.

• Manage and coach our QC Team Leader

• Conduct daily quality audits and reviews, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Work closely with Production and Customer Service teams to implement countermeasures and mitigation plans that address identified quality issues.

• Ensure quality concerns are investigated, resolved promptly, and escalated where required.

• Develop, maintain and improve quality procedures, reporting and documentation.

• Coach, mentor and support team members to achieve high performance and consistent quality outcomes.

• Occasionally join client meetings with Account Managers to provide context from a QC standpoint.

• Promote a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement throughout Prima PMI.

About You

Technical Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience within the print industry is ideal but not absolutely mandatory.

• A strong understanding of production systems, processes and associated production methodologies.

• Knowledge of digital printing processes.

• Knowledge of print materials.

• The ability to engage effectively with Production teams to implement countermeasures and mitigation plans that address identified quality issues.

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards.

• An understanding of when Quality Assurance matters should be escalated if they cannot be resolved within the team.

• Previous experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Auditing or a supervisory role.
