Quality Control Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Co-Ordinator to join our team in Melton on a permanent full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are maintained across the supply chain.

The role

The Quality Control Co-Ordinator’s role is to ensure adherence to the relevant quality standards across all areas of the supply chain, including raw materials, production, finished goods and dispatch. This will be achieved through a combination of in-process testing and reporting along with monitoring and review of quality of work and process control at each stage. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical ability, and capability to operate autonomously.

 What you will do:

• Conduct and record daily process control and quality checks

• Perform product testing including load, absorption, and strength tests

• Identify and manage non-conforming products, repairs, and rejects

• Ensure relevant legislative compliance and local authority specifications are adhered to

• Support investigations into quality incidents and customer feedback

• Collaborate with the National Quality team to implement improvements

• Provide training and support to production teams on quality standards

About you:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or civil environments

• Strong technical skills including interpreting drawings, measuring tools, and data analysis

• High attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Strong communication skills including, verbal, written and listening

• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Quality Management Systems)

• An innovative thinker seeking continuous Improvement

• Experience in Quality Control, Auditing, or Process Improvement

• Australian Drivers Licence and Forklift Licence

• Qualification in Quality Systems/Management, Inspection & Test, or Auditing desirable
