Customer Care Consultant Trade Store - Mackay QLD

The Role

We’re looking for two proactive and friendly Customer Care Consultants to join our supportive team at our Mackay Trade Store!

This is a front-of-house, customer-facing role where you’ll be the first point of contact in-store. We’re seeking someone with solid retail/customer service experience who is comfortable engaging with customers face-to-face and working closely within a team to keep the store running efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide face-to-face customer service as the primary focus of the roleAssist customers with product selection and provide practical advice on industrial productsMaintain a clean, well-stocked, and organised shopfloorSupport stock replenishment, stocktakes, and merchandising activitiesSafely handle and move stock (including items up to required weight limits)Identify and escalate customer or operational issues when neededWork collaboratively to maintain a safe, efficient, and supportive team environment

Our Ideal Candidate will have

Previous experience in retail, trade, or customer-facing roles (or a willingness to start in the retail industry)Strong face-to-face communication skills and customer service mannerProactive and reliable personality traits with an emphasis on wanting to make your workplace betterPhysically capable of handling stock safely (according to WA workplace guidelines)Values and integrity in line with Blackwoods
