About the Role 
We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Monarto Safari Resort. This role is a wonderful opportunity for a hospitality professional who prioritises guest experience and luxury service, and who is committed to creating lasting memories for every visitor. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the properties operational activities with a strong focus on enhancing guest experiences and satisfaction 

• Collaborate closely with department leaders to ensure seamless service across all areas of the resort 

• Set performance benchmarks that align with our luxury hospitality standards and commit to continuous improvement 

• Implement and uphold safety protocols and security measures for both guests and staff 

• Address operational challenges with empathy and professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction 

• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and personal growth 

• Maintain open communication with senior leadership to align operational goals and strategies 

About You 
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in hotel operations, with an emphasis on guest-focused service. A strong understanding of financial management and the ability to create a collaborative and supportive environment for your team are essential. 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

• Extensive experience in hotel/resort operations in a leadership role 

• A hands-on approach with the ability to work across multiple departments 

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills 

• Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences 

• Ability to motivate, coach, and support a diverse team 

• Strong financial acumen and the ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining quality standards 

• Excellent organisational skills, with a focus on creating a personalised guest experience while managing competitive priorities 

• A collaborative and approachable leadership style that inspires teamwork and trust 

• Knowledge of hotel operations and property management systems 

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate 

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
