Accounts Officer | Accounts Receivable & Administration

Network Specialist Services (NSS) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our growing team in Perth, Western Australia.

As our Accounts Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of the business while assisting with administration, procurement coordination and customer account management. You will work closely with management, suppliers, clients and the wider team to ensure efficient business operations and exceptional service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing Accounts Receivable, including invoice generation, customer account maintenance and collection of outstanding accounts.

• Processing Accounts Payable, supplier invoices, credit notes and payments.

• Performing daily bank reconciliations and allocating customer payments.

• Preparing and issuing customer statements.

• Managing supplier account reconciliations and resolving account discrepancies.

• Assisting with credit applications, credit checks and account establishment processes.

• Maintaining accurate financial records within XERO & Odoo and associated business systems.

• Assisting with financial reporting requirements and month-end processes.

• Supporting procurement and supplier coordination activities.

• Managing finance-related administrative tasks, document control and record keeping.

• Assisting management with reporting, forecasting and cash flow monitoring.

• Providing exceptional service to customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of finance and business administration processes.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in an Accounts Officer, Accounts Administrator or similar finance role.

• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and reconciliation processes.

• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems, preferably Odoo, Xero, MYOB, Pronto or similar.

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.

• High levels of professionalism, discretion and integrity.

• Full-time permanent position.

• Competitive salary package of $75,000 - $85,000 plus Superannuation, dependent on experience.
