MR Tipper Truck Driver / Landscape Labourer

LMK Landscaping is seeking a reliable and hardworking MR Tipper Truck Driver / Landscape Labourer to join our landscaping team.

This is a hands-on dual role combining tipper truck driving with general landscaping labour. You will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment and machinery between our yard, suppliers and job sites, as well as working alongside our landscaping crews when the truck is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate an MR tipper truck safely and confidently

• Deliver and collect soil, sand, gravel, road base, mulch and other landscaping materials

• Transport equipment and machinery between job sites

• Load, unload and tip materials safely

• Pick up materials and equipment from suppliers

• Correctly secure loads, machinery and equipment for transport

• Carry out basic daily truck checks and keep the vehicle clean and maintained

• Assist with loading and unloading materials on-site

• Work alongside our landscaping crews when driving duties are completed

• Perform general landscaping and labouring duties including site preparation, moving materials, digging and site clean-up

• Follow company and site safety procedures

Essential Requirements

• Minimum MR Truck Licence – essential

• Experience confidently driving a tipper truck

• Current Australian driver licence

• White Card

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

• Willing to work on the tools when truck duties are not required

Highly Regarded

• Excavator operating experience

• Excavator ticket/competency

• Experience loading tipper trucks with an excavator

• Landscaping, construction or civil experience

• Experience towing trailers and transporting plant/machinery

• Experience operating other plant or machinery

About the Role

This is not a driver-only position.

While driving and operating the tipper truck will be a key part of the role, when the truck isn’t required you will be expected to work on-site alongside the landscaping crew.

Someone who can confidently operate an excavator as well as drive the tipper truck would be highly regarded, as this will allow you to assist with excavation, loading trucks and other machinery work across our projects.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, practical, hardworking and willing to get stuck in wherever needed.
