Facilities Manager - Bunbury

For the love of food, we’re seeking a hands on, commercially minded Facilities Manager who thrives on creating safe, efficient and sustainable workplaces. This pivotal role will sit at the heart of our site operations, partnering closely with our Site General Manager and leadership team to ensure our facilities run seamlessly every day.

Reporting to the Site General Manager, you’ll take ownership of the full facilities portfolio - from buildings and security to contractors, environmental compliance and sustainability programs. This is a broad and influential role where operational excellence meets long term planning and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Lead site facilities operations
Oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of buildings, offices and amenities. Coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance, cleaning and waste services, and ensure compliance with building and insurance requirements.

Manage contractors and services
Engage and oversee external service providers, ensuring strong safety standards, clear KPIs and value for money across all contracts.

Oversee security and safety systems
Maintain site security infrastructure, emergency response processes and fire systems, supporting overall WHS compliance in all facilities related activities.

Drive sustainability and performance
Monitor energy, water and waste metrics, support environmental initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Lead site ISO50001 energy requirements and drive continuous improvement in resource efficiency.

Manage budgets and improvement projects
Own the facilities budget, deliver minor capital works and refurbishments, and provide clear reporting to support infrastructure planning and investment decisions.

What we’re looking for

• Proven facilities management experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Tertiary qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong contractor and building services knowledge.

• Solid understanding of WHS and environmental compliance.

• Experience managing budgets and service contracts.

• Exposure to ISO14001 or ISO50001 systems (desirable).

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
