Accounts Assistant AP & AR

Part time position with flexible hours (work on site only)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our busy motorcycle dealership.

This is a hands-on role supporting our day-to-day administration, with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP), transaction processing and account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and enter daily financial transactions accurately

• Manage Accounts Payable

• Enter and process supplier invoices and customer payments

• Reconcile supplier statements and customer accounts

• Allocate and receipt payments

• Follow up outstanding customer accounts

• Assist with bank reconciliations and balancing accounts

• Check invoices, payments and transactions for accuracy

• Maintain accurate records and filing

• Assist with month-end accounts and reporting

• Work closely with the dealership's sales, parts, service and administration teams

• Provide general accounting and administrative support as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in accounts, bookkeeping or administration

• Confident with AP and AR

• Accurate and highly organised

• Good with numbers and reconciliation

• Reliable and able to meet deadlines

• A good communicator who works well within a team

• Comfortable using accounting software

• Previous experience in a motorcycle, automotive or dealership environment is highly regarded
