Role DescriptionThe Venue Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surrey Hills, VIC, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an X-Golf venue. This includes managing staff scheduling and performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming, safe, and clean environment for guests. The role involves monitoring venue performance, managing budgets and costs, coordinating events and group bookings, and optimizing simulator and facility usage to maximize revenue. The Venue Manager collaborates with the broader X-Golf team to implement marketing initiatives, drive local community engagement, and uphold brand standards. This position requires hands-on leadership during trading hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure smooth operations and a consistently high-quality guest experience.
QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact confidently with guests, staff, and stakeholders.Candidates should possess Venue Management and Event Management skills to oversee daily operations, group bookings, and celebrations.Candidates should possess Budgeting and basic financial management skills to monitor revenue, costs, and overall venue performance.Relevant experience in hospitality, leisure, or retail management is beneficial, including supervising teams and working in fast-paced environments.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic digital tools; experience in local marketing or community engagement is an advantage.Formal qualifications in hospitality, business management, or a related field are desirable but not mandatory.Current RSA essential.
