Now, we’re bringing iPlay to the Northern Territory for the very first time.

We’re looking for an A-Grade Venue Manager to lead iPlay Casuarina, our first-ever Northern Territory venue, and play a key role in establishing the iPlay brand in Darwin.

This is more than a Venue Manager position.

You’ll be building the foundation for iPlay’s future in the Northern Territory.

THE ROLE

As Venue Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of iPlay Casuarina - leading, inspiring and driving a team that’s obsessed with creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll lead the venue through every stage of the Guest Journey - from Arrival to Farewell - ensuring every visit delivers a Moment that Matters.

As our first venue in the Northern Territory, you’ll also play a critical role in establishing the iPlay culture, standards and reputation in Darwin.

You’ll have the opportunity to build a high-performing team, develop strong relationships within the local community and work alongside senior leaders to help shape the future growth of iPlay across the Northern Territory.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Run the show - Oversee all venue operations, keeping energy high and experiences seamless

• Lead, train and inspire - Recruit, develop and empower a high-performing team

• Deliver the Moments that Matter - Make every guest visit smooth, memorable and full of life

• Build the culture - Establish a positive, accountable and energetic iPlay team from the ground up

• Manage the essentials - Rosters, performance, stock and service standards running like clockwork

• Own the numbers - Budgets, reporting and ordering to keep the venue profitable and efficient

• Champion safety and compliance - Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment

• Know your community - Build strong relationships with guests, local businesses and the wider Darwin community

• Collaborate and innovate - Work with senior leaders to grow the business and establish iPlay as a major entertainment destination in the Northern Territory

• Help shape the future - Contribute to the growth and development of iPlay as the brand expands across the Territory

ABOUT YOU

You’re a natural leader with drive, passion and personality.

You lead with honesty, thrive on teamwork and are genuinely guest-obsessed in everything you do.

You’re the type of person who can walk into a busy venue, rally the team, solve problems on the spot and still make sure the guest at the front counter gets a great experience.

What you’re bringing to the party:

• Proven 2+ years leadership experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail or a similar high-volume environment

• A hands-on leadership style - you’re on the floor, not behind a desk

• Strong venue or entertainment operations experience

• Confidence with rosters, budgets, reporting and stock control

• A calm, solution-focused approach under pressure

• A passion for culture building and team development

• The ability to recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team

• Strong commercial awareness and a focus on delivering results

• Availability across days, nights, weekends and public holidays

• Preferably hold RSA and Food Safety Supervisor certifications
