With established operations across Australia and continued growth from our Sydney head office in Macquarie Park, we are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our Sydney sales team.

This is a senior industry sales position.

We are specifically looking for an experienced sales professional who already has a proven background in Managed Print and/or Business Telecommunications.

Industry experience is essential. We are not looking to train someone into the Print or Telecommunications industry.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating, developing and closing new business opportunities across the Sydney market.

This is a genuine new-business sales role.

You will be expected to prospect, open doors, secure appointments, meet with business owners and senior decision-makers, uncover opportunities and manage the complete sales process through to close.

You can lead with your area of expertise — Managed Print or Telecommunications — while having the ability to introduce customers to Techpay's broader suite of technology solutions.

We provide the platform, products, technical expertise and operational support.

You bring the industry experience and ability to sell.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities across the Sydney market
• Proactively prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals and other business development activities
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Conduct professional face-to-face meetings with business owners and senior decision-makers
• Review customers' existing Managed Print and/or Telecommunications environments
• Analyse existing supplier invoices, agreements, contracts and costs
• Conduct effective discovery and needs analysis to identify commercial and technology opportunities
• Develop and present tailored solutions and compelling commercial proposals
• Negotiate and close new business
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting through to signed agreement
• Work closely with our technical, project and administration teams to ensure successful customer implementation
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional Techpay solutions including Managed IT, connectivity and Audio Visual
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships
• Maintain accurate pipeline, activity and opportunity information within our CRM
• Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 5+ years' B2B sales / Business Development experience
• Proven sales experience specifically within Managed Print and/or Business Telecommunications
• A demonstrated track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets
• Strong prospecting and pipeline-generation skills
• Experience managing the complete B2B sales cycle
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Confidence dealing with business owners, directors and senior decision-makers
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• The ability to generate your own opportunities rather than relying on inbound leads
• A competitive, self-motivated and results-driven approach
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performance sales environment
• A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle for customer appointments across Sydney

Experience across both Managed Print and Telecommunications would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

This Is Not an Entry-Level Sales Role

We want to be upfront about the level of salesperson we are looking for.

You may currently be working for a Managed Print provider, telecommunications company or technology business and looking for an opportunity where you can take your existing experience into a broader technology offering.

We will train you on Techpay's systems, suppliers, products and internal processes, but we expect you to already understand your industry, know how to prospect and be capable of managing and closing B2B opportunities.
