🚀 We're Hiring: DB2 System Programmer📍 Location: Melbourne💼 Experience: 10+ years in Mainframe DB2 System Programmer🧑 💻 Employment Type: Contract
Role Focus: Global team responsible for building, configuring, and administering Bank Mainframe systems (Parallel Sysplex environment).
Key Responsibilities & Experience:10+ years of experience as a Mainframe DB2 System Programmer.Installation, upgrades, configuration, and performance tuning for DB2 and associated third-party/OEM products (IBM, CA, BMC).Maintenance of DSNTIP/DSNTIJUZ ZPARM parameters, SMF/RSU maintenance, and SMP/E procedures.Disaster recovery implementation (traditional DR and FlashCopy DR).DB2 Data Sharing across LPARs, IDAA (IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator), WLM stored procedures, RACF security, and catalog/directory housekeeping.Level 3 DB2 database support, 24/7 on-call availability, and ticketing tool management (Remedy, ServiceNow).
