About the Role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join our CareScan Medical Imaging team at multiple locations on a full-time, part-time or casual basis. The position is ideal for someone looking for a challenging yet rewarding service-focused career in a supportive, non-judgmental team environment. Above-market remuneration and other benefits are on offer for the right candidate. You will be given training and supervision to succeed in this role. 

This position requires rostered weekend work; we are willing to consider casuals for weekend work as well. Please indicate this and your location preference in your cover letter.

About You

Essential Selection criteria:

• Reception experience within medical imaging or radiology businesses.

• Previous exposure to complex radiology bookings, such as CT, MRI, and Pregnancy Ultrasounds.

• Ability to work weekends when rostered.

Desirable attributes:

• Experience in radiology typing and billing will be highly regarded.

• Ability to deliver timely, polite, and efficient customer-focused service.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Demonstrated composure under pressure.

• Effective prioritisation skills.

• Ability to learn quickly.

• Ability to follow instructions.

• Professional personal presentation.

• The ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.

• Those with multilingual abilities will be highly regarded

• Honesty, punctuality and willingness to help other team members.
