The Australian Drilling Systems (ADS) Group manufactures and operates specialised underground UIS directional drilling and secondary support equipment.  We offer complete drilling, secondary support and other project solutions and have our equipment and personnel engaged at many leading mine sites in Australia.

The Role

Workshop Fitter - Seeking a motivated, competent, safe and productive mechanical tradesperson to join our Tomago based workshop team providing OEM support and services. The role is 5 days per week Mon-Fri.

The role includes mechanical repair and overhaul of electrohydraulic drill rigs, air track bolting rigs and all ancillary equipment associated with the underground drill and bolting processes.

You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential

• Mechanical Fitter trade qualified.

• Post trade experience in underground equipment manufacture, overhaul or maintenance.

• Hydraulic and fabricating experience highly regarded.

• C Class Driver's licence.

• Forklift licence.

• Ability to work within a small, committed team, focusing on quality and deliverables.

• An outcome focused, passionate and professional attitude towards the role.

• Demonstrated ability adhering to safety policies and procedures in a workshop environment.
