We have an exciting opportunity for multiple Project Coordinators to join our Projects team in Melbourne.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating resources, stakeholders, contractors and project activities to ensure construction projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to quality standards while meeting client expectations and company requirements.

You will work closely with an assigned Project Manager and report directly to the Project Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate pre-construction activities including design, planning, procurement and project setup.

• Manage project delivery activities, ensuring resources, schedules, information and documentation are effectively coordinated.

• Monitor project progress, identify issues and communicate project status to stakeholders.

• Administer project scope changes, variations and contractual requirements in line with client and project expectations.

• Maintain accurate project records, reports, quality documentation and financial management systems.

• Oversee project budgets, cash flow, invoices, claims and variation approvals.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.

• Minute project meetings, quality reviews and site inspections to support successful project outcomes.

• Support project handovers, defect resolution, compliance sign-offs and warranty obligations.

• Promote and maintain health, safety, environmental and quality standards across all project activities.

ABOUT YOU

Successful applicants must have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience coordinating construction projects of similar size, scope and complexity.

• Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.

• Construction White Card (or ability to obtain).

• First Aid Certificate Level 2 (or ability to obtain).

• Certificate III in Workplace Health and Safety (or ability to obtain).

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and best practices.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong financial, commercial and contractual acumen with sound analytical skills.

• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and other relevant software applications.

• Ability to accurately utilise project and financial management systems.

• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.

• Experience using Procore, Buildlogic or similar project management software is preferred.
