THE POSITION

As the Used Vehicle Reconditioning Scheduler, you will act as the principal contact between the reconditioning team (workshop and detailers) and the Used Car Manager, for repair and maintenance on used vehicles, while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. 

The Role will include:

»        Estimating and quoting the cost and time needed to recondition used vehicles to meet dealership and roadworthy standards.

»        Writing up of repair orders.

»        Carry out warranty and recall checks on used vehicles.

»        Scheduling used cars for reconditioning and detailing.

»        Ordering parts required for cars being reconditioned.

»        Ensuring relevant used cars are recorded in the company’s systems.

»        Keeping management up to date with vehicle progress and ensuring a high level of customer service.

»        Scheduling and quoting Stat Warranty repairs

»        Co-ordinate and manage the fortnightly dealership wholesale tender

 Required skills:

»        Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player

»        Strong working knowledge of the automotive industry

»        Strong Automotive mechanical and technical knowledge and experience

»        Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

»        Ability to meet and establish deadlines

»        Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

»        Proficient in the Microsoft office suite of works

»        Customer service focus
