Later this year, Lexus of Blackburn will unveil a fully rebuilt, state-of-the-art dealership on our existing site — designed to elevate every aspect of the Lexus ownership experience. This is not a new business — it’s the transformation of an established, high-performing dealership.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Pre-Delivery / Reconditioning Coordinator to join our busy Service and Sales team.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the complete preparation of new and used vehicles to ensure they are delivered to customers on time and to the highest standard. You will work closely with the Sales Department, Service Workshop, Parts Department, Detailers and external suppliers to keep vehicles progressing through the reconditioning process efficiently.

This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills.

• Coordinate all pre-delivery and reconditioning work for new and used vehicles.

• Schedule workshop repairs, servicing and accessory fitments.

• Monitor vehicle progress and ensure delivery deadlines are achieved.

• Arrange external repairs including:

  • Paint and panel work

  • Windscreens

  • Wheel repairs

  • Dent removal

  • Upholstery and trim repairs

  • Other cosmetic repairs as required

• Ensure all vehicles meet dealership presentation and manufacturer standards.

• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.

• Identify and escalate delays that may impact customer delivery.

• Prioritise workload to maximise workshop efficiency.

• Perform final quality checks before vehicles are released for delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience within the automotive industry (Dealership experience highly regarded).

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple vehicles and deadlines simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• High attention to detail.

• Strong computer literacy and experience using dealership management systems.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• A current Victorian Driver Licence.
