Wedding Event Planner/Executive

Location: The Rocks, Sydney

We're looking for a passionate and organised Wedding Event Planner / Executive to join our team at Watersedge at Campbell's Stores, one of Sydney's premier waterfront wedding venues.

Your Role

As a Wedding Event Planner / Executive, you'll manage the wedding journey from post-sale through to the event day, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and every couple enjoys an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of weddings and social events

• Build strong relationships with couples, understanding their vision and bringing it to life

• Conduct wedding planning meetings and final details appointments

• Prepare accurate floorplans, event orders, timelines and wedding documentation

• Liaise with suppliers, stylists, entertainers and other external vendors

• Coordinate menu selections, beverage packages and event timelines

• Manage invoices, payment schedules and final account reconciliations

• Conduct venue site inspections and wedding showcases

• Welcome couples and their guests on the wedding day, ensuring a seamless handover to the Operations team

• Work closely with the Sales, Kitchen and Operations teams to deliver exceptional events

• Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through thoughtful recommendations and upgrades

• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the entire planning process

Working Week: Tuesday – Saturday on rotation

• Passionate about weddings, hospitality and creating memorable experiences

• A positive, professional and client-focused attitude

• Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple weddings simultaneously while remaining calm under pressure

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Experience with Momentus Enterprise software is highly desirable

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in wedding planning, wedding coordination or event management

• Experience within a premium wedding venue or hospitality environment is highly regarded

• Strong administration and computer skills

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

• Proven ability to manage multiple events and competing deadlines

• Confidence in delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable client experiences

• Full Australian working rights (required)
