Wedding & Events Coordinator

We're looking for a passionate professional to own end-to-end management of weddings, private events and large group bookings at our premium Adelaide Hills estate property, including planning, coordination and execution. 

Touching all steps in the customer journey, you will be helping drive quality enquiries, managing client correspondence, and developing and delivering bespoke event solutions that provide guests with a memorable experience. 

You'll be joining an award-winning hospitality team passionate about cool-climate wines and elevated regional dining in a unique architecturally designed venue where the Hills meets the Fleurieu Peninsula. 

Responsibilities: 

• Respond to event enquires, lead venue tours and prepare event agreements 

• Provide guest-centred planning services including menu selections, layout and styling support 

• Coordinate all correspondence, invoicing and admin for corporate events, weddings and large bookings 

• Manage all in-house liaison with kitchen and FOH teams for event requirements including detailed event orders and rehearsals 

• Supervise events, provide FOH staff direction and liaise with clients during event 

• Lead set up and pack down of events 

• Manage vendors and third-party suppliers as required 

Requirements: 

• Three years or more of event planning and project management experience 

• Proven professional and effective management of staff and vendors 

• Ability to manage numerous competing priorities, adapt quickly to a variety of situations and remain calm under pressure 

• Experience planning, managing, and seeing to completion multiple projects simultaneously 

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and organisational and project management software 

• RP badge, hospitality industry experience preferred 

• Demonstrated customer service skills 

• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in team pursuits 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Self-motivated, highly organised and detail oriented 

• Ability to work weekends onsite
