IT Help Desk Officer

THE OPPORTUNITY

Onsite role 5 days a week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for incidents and service requests across hardware, software, connectivity, printing, telephony and Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshoot and resolve laptop, desktop, peripheral, docking station, monitor and meeting room technology issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Office apps.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, licence assignments, onboarding and offboarding support.
• Log, update, manage and close tickets accurately within the IT Service Management platform.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2/3 teams while keeping users informed and supported.
• Maintain device records, asset registers, documentation, knowledge base articles and standard procedures.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation opportunities and the adoption of emerging tools, including AI.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• 1–2 years’ experience in IT support, service desk, desktop support or a similar technical support role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows laptops, desktops, peripherals and Microsoft 365.
• Good understanding of Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Office apps.
• Clear, professional communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to document issues, resolutions and technical information accurately.
• Confident problem-solver who can work independently and collaboratively.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and genuine interest in emerging technologies, including AI.
