Human Resources Manager

In many cases, we are our clients' embedded HR department.   

We are looking for a commercially minded HR Manager to undertake in-house and consulting work with our clients and to work closely with our HR outsourcing team to develop new business opportunities.

This role will take ownership of the HR component of early-stage client engagement, from identifying client needs and risks to delivering sound HR solutions as an ‘embedded’ HR manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify client needs and employment compliance risks

• Shape practical, cost-effective HR solutions based on client requirements

• Ensure proposed solutions are commercially sound and deliverable.  

• Build credibility with existing and prospective clients through practical engagement.

• Work closely with the EL Blue team to support business development opportunities.

Key Requirements

• 5 years’ HR management experience within a large company or SME with a defined Human Resource Management function.

• A strong knowledge of Australian HR practices, workplace policies, employment documentation and general compliance principles.

• Strong communication skills.

• Commercial judgment and ‘can-do’ attitude, able to balance client expectations with practical delivery considerations and cost-effective outcomes.

• A proactive and ownership-driven approach, with the ability to move work forward without close supervision.
