About The Opportunity

Programmed Electrical Technologies department currently has a great opportunity for Electricians and Communication Technicians to join our team in Brisbane. This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that provides electrical and data installations on a wide range of customer sites. Working on predominantly federal government and commercial projects, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and advanced communication systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Fiber optic cabling and structured cabling installation, termination and fit offs.
• Communications rack set up and installations.
• Installation, termination, and fit off of electrical infrastructure and apparatus
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their electrical and communication cabling needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Document all installation, maintenance, and repair activities accurately and comprehensively.
• Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations in all tasks.

About You

To join our team, you will have an open registration cabling license with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have;

• Electrical license or ACMA license is mandatory
• Certificate III in telecommunications is desirable
• Experience in defense or commercial installations
• Defense clearance is highly regarded
• Current driver's license
• Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
• Execute work that is of a high standard
• A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems.
