Part-Time Social Media & Digital Content Coordinator

Approximately 15 hours per week | $38 per hour plus super

Westerns Group is looking for a creative and hands-on Social Media & Digital Content Coordinator to develop content across:

• Western Pet Supplies – a leading wholesaler of pet food and accessories to the Australian pet specialty industry

• Western Distribution – a third-party logistics provider offering warehousing, fulfilment and supply chain solutions

Working closely with the key members of the Management and Sales teams, you will create engaging content that builds brand awareness, supports sales activity and strengthens our digital presence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create, schedule and monitor content across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

• Maintain content calendars for multiple businesses and brands

• Create graphics, captions, digital advertisements, photography and short-form videos

• Develop brand-awareness content for in-house brands and other priority products

• Promote Western Pet Supplies’ broader wholesale product range to the pet specialty industry

• Support product launches, promotions and wholesale sales campaigns

• Develop professional content that builds awareness of Western Distribution and its third-party logistics capabilities

• Create content that clearly communicates our services, the industries we support and what differentiates our business

• Turn warehousing and operational information into clear, engaging content for prospective clients

• Capture photographs and videos showcasing our facilities, warehouse operations, systems, team and service capabilities

• Create LinkedIn posts, service explainers, website content, EDMs and sales support material

• Assist with catalogues, promotional material and sales documents

• Review digital performance and identify new content opportunities

• Work with internal teams and suppliers to gather information, images and content ideas

About you

• You have practical experience creating social media or digital marketing content

• You can write engaging and accurate content for consumer and B2B audiences

• You are confident using Canva or similar design software

• You have basic photography and video editing skills

• You understand major social media platforms and current content formats

• You are creative, organised and able to manage deadlines

• You have excellent attention to detail

• You can work independently while taking direction and feedback

Experience with Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, EDM platforms, Shopify, social media scheduling tools, Adobe Creative Suite or catalogue design would be advantageous but is not essential.

Formal marketing qualifications are welcome but not required. We are most interested in your creativity, practical ability and examples of content you have produced.

About the position

• Approximately 15 hours per week

• $38 per hour plus superannuation

• Based at our Prestons, NSW premises

• Regular onsite attendance is required to create product, warehouse and team content

• Working days and hours can be discussed with the successful applicant
